এবং শলোমন প্রভুর মন্দিরের সামনের অঙ্গণের মধ্যভাগ নিবেদন করলেন এবং তিনি হোমবলি ও মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য়ের চর্বি অংশটি উত্সর্গ করলেন| শলোমন এই উত্সর্গগুলি অঙ্গণের মাঝখানে নিবেদন করলেন কারণ তিনি পিতলের যে বেদীটি বানিয়েছিলেন সেটি হোমবলি, শস্য নৈবেদ্য চর্বি ধারণের পক্ষে খুবই ছোট ছিল|

Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that [was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.

King Solomon also dedicated the yard in front of the Temple. He offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat from the animals that were used as fellowship offerings. King Solomon made these offerings there in the yard. He did this because the bronze altar in front of the Lord was too small to hold them all.
